What is Cryotherapy?
Cold has always been known to have phenomenal properties. For ages, scientists have tried to find a proper way of using its features in fields of medicine and cosmetology. Not so long ago, they reinvented and improved cryotherapy – treatment in which body is exposed to extremely low temperatures. Single session lasts up to 3 minutes. A customer is entered into the cabin (Cryoness), where the temperature ranges from -110ºC to -170ºC. During treatment, skin temperature is significantly lowered – from 32ºC to even 5ºC.
What's important, the body doesn't freeze owing to the fact that the air in the capsule is totally dry.
Brief thermal controlled shocks cause release of adrenaline into the bloodstream what leads to an increase in heart rate, muscle strength, blood pressure and sugar metabolism. We can't also forget about the release of endorphins – natural painkiller and stress fighter.
In a short period of time, cryotherapy has succeeded among athletes, sport addicts, people who are trying to get rid of extra pounds (weight loss) and cellulite.
